Part 5 - A selection of my photos influenced by some of the great 'street' photographers.

This brief sampling is from a series of photos taking from bicycles and cars.  These images are from 1981 to 1995. Manual film cameras, no motor-drives,  no auto-focus - simplified down to the bare camera and minor events / no events  taking place within camera range while riding a bike, or sitting passenger in a car.

  1. Quite a few of these are in Pasadena and most coincide with the time I lived there. My wife and I moved from there by Aug 1992. My first impression was that Vivian Maier would have taken sharper, more focused images but these were done on the fly and still capture a lot of compelling detail. I like the one of the Sound Chamber with just a hint of the Pasadena Playhouse in the background. Take some time, look closely and one is rewarded.
